It is crucial to maintain the membrane surface from fouling to avoid frequent maintenance resulting in high costs. Fouling is known to occur mostly with surface water or wastewater where there is an abundance of organic substances that causes membrane fouling. CSM's FRM (Fouling Resistant Membrane) RO element has a smooth surface and its hydrophilic properties significantly reduces such problems. Therefore, CSM FRM element is recommended for use in surface water and wastewater.

CSM FEn is the enhanced version of CSM FE (higher fouling resistnace)
