SWCC has announced the registration of Woongjin Chemical Co., Ltd the manufacturer of CSM branded membrane technologies (RO, NF, UF), as one of its recognized or official vendors.
Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) is a government entity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia responsible for desalinating sea water, in order to augment the supply of potable water to coastal and inland cities in the Kingdom. SWCC is also the second largest producer of electrical power in Saudi Arabia.
One of the criteria’s to be approved as a vendor of SWCC is evidence of stable and optimal product performance through rigorous and continuous pilot tests of the products, which CSM membranes was able to achieve.
With this recent achievement, CSM has broadened their business and technical capabilities in the Middle East and will be able to participate in various seawater desalination projects within the region.
