The graphs above shows the test results of Woongjin Chemical's CRM - Chlorine Resistant Reverse Osmosis Membranes. The top graph deals with the changes in membrane performance under chlorine exposure according to time. The bottom graph indicates salt passage varaiations.
The salt rejection rate of the CRM showed stable performance readings up until 200 hours where the rejection rate began to gradually decline.
When comparing salt passage readings before and after chlorine exposure, the salt passage of the CRM membrane doubled at 15,500 ppmh, while the regular RO measured 2,400 ppmh. Also, a competitor's model high oxygen resistance RO was tested and compared, yielding a salt passage reading of 4,600 ppmh. |
