The goal of the filter business is to achieve thorough customer satisfaction in the filtration and separation area. The filter business consists of two parts, reverse osmosis membranes and micro filters. By integrating the two filter businesses into one, Woongjin Chemical pursues total solution of filtration.

CSM is the product brand for RO, NF, UF membranes and micro-filter products of Woongjin Chemical. Now it is called Customer Satisfaction Membranes representing reliable technical service and high quality of products from Woongjin Chemical.
The reverse osmosis membrane is a thin polyamide composite layer that does not permit ions to permeate through it. Due to its ability to remove ions from solutions it is mainly used to remove salt from aqueous solutions. Applications of our products range from seawater and brackish water desalination, industrial ultrapure water processing for rinsing electronic parts during manufacture, processing clean water for medical and pharmaceutical use, and wastewater reuse and recyle.

Having started the micro-filter business in 1997, Woongjin Chemical produced cartridge filters, mini and capsule filters to support various application fields to meet customer needs. Woongjin Chemical supplies a variety of media filters from polypropylene to Teflon to cater to specific customer requirements.
